iPhone heats up? Here's why and how to fix

Summer brings a general rise in temperatures and having a smartphone that is too hot may not depend only on the climate. What to do if iPhone gets too hot?

It is not a common problem, but if you notice that the iPhone is hotter than usual, it is necessary to intervene: it is symptomatic of something wrong and fortunately, there are simple operations that could solve the problem and avoid malfunctions.

If this still does not solve the overheating problem, it is possible that some application installed on the iPhone, often in use, is "buggy". In this case, it is advisable to check for updates available in the App Store. It will be sufficient, then, to open the Apple digital store directly from the iPhone, consult the updates page and click on the Update button in the single offending app, or on the Update all button, so as to always keep the applications on your terminal updated.

Use a fresh system

It is also possible that the iOS version in use has malfunctioned. And then, in this case, it is possible to rely on the always punctual system updates. Apple quickly notices if something is wrong with the distributed software release and often manages to release updates to fix it in record time.

To keep your terminal always updated, simply open the Settings, General, and Software Update panel.

Also in the Settings panel, in case the above recommendations were not able to solve the iPhone overheating problem, the Reset item is available. At first it is advisable to try the Reset Settings item, which is less invasive and does not delete any content on the device.
